It was a place that has an artesian well on it, now. Mrs. Knox' grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George McGlothlen came out at the same time as the Taylors. She lived with her parents on the ranch where her father raised livestock, cattle and horses, until she was 10 years old. The ranch was on the old road, just about the Fred Cleman place.
