Some would wander infrequently onto the reservation and we'd go bring them back. We never had any trouble with the Indians over the range. The cattle kept pushing further north each year for new range as the grass and white sage close to the Yakima river petered out. They still had to come back to the river about every 2 days for water but they had further to go all the time between the river and the grass."NO KNOWN COPYRIGHT The organization that has made the Item available reasonably believes that the Item is not restricted by copyright or related rights, but a conclusive determination could not be made.
