Date est."There are four large guns in the Yakima Frontier Museum collection besides a large collection of historic rifles, like Indian trade guns, and handguns. One, a big Gatling gun, was made in 1883 and was manufactured by the Colt Co. It is a brass jacketed gun of the typed used in the Spanish American war and could fire 800 shots a minute. Dr. Gatling went to the Colt plant in 1866 with his gun which was perfected there. It was at that plant that John M.
