The first Indian agent was a man by the name of R. H. Lonsdale who began operations about August, 1860. At that time there was no established rules for his guidance and his ideas and decisions were not always favorably received and soon much dissatisfaction arose. Lonsdale faced charges and he in time made counter charges. At last a man by the name of C. W. Walker was sent to replace Agent Lonsdale."NO KNOWN COPYRIGHT The organization that has made the Item available reasonably believes that the Item is not restricted by copyright or related rights, but a conclusive determination could not be made.
