It must be admitted that some of the alleys and back yards, especially in or near the business section of North Yakima, are now in a rather filthy condition, which gives offense to the eye as well as the nostrils. The city authorities will doubtless see to it that the side streets and alleys are cleaned, but the individual property owner or tenant must be looked to to clean up each his own back yard. The city council should see to it, too, that the work is done."No Known Copyright The organization that has made the Item available reasonably believes that the Item is not restricted by copyright or related rights, but a conclusive determination could not be made.
