Abstract

"There is an old burial ground in the mountains about four miles north of Kernville, but it is not known whether any paintings are there or not. The only local authority known to the District Ranger at Isabella was contact regarding Indian paintings, and he gave the spot indicated with the red cross in the circle as the only place near there that he knew there were any paintings."
