"I frankly stated that the book should be read from an entertaining angle but more especially from an historical angle. Ill confess I talked for an hour but the result was very satisfying; they were all eager to read the book for themselves; my own copy will be passed along by four or five and Mrs. Rawling's copy will do good service too. Best of all several espressed a desire to have a copy on their own library shelves."
