dc.description.abstract"The Yakima fishery negotiating committee members have said there are sixty-five but they seem inclined to class the unallotted and unenrolled Mid-Columbias in this category. The informant appeared more familiar with the various tribes mentioned as parties to the Treaty with the Yakima Nation of Indians of Indians, June 9, 1855, than other informants previously consulted. He provided not only voluntary information about some of the tribes therein listed, but one bit of information encountered on but one previous occasion, and that at some distance."en_US
