"We understand that a special agent of the interior department has visited Fort Simcoe and ordered the Indians to drive all of the cattle of white men beyond the boundaries of the Indian reserve and charge a dollar per head for doing so, and further authorizing six such drives a year if grazes do not keep their stock of the reserve."
