"Mr. Guie and I are employed on the same newspaper. I have completed a manuscript, dealing with Smowhala, the Indian prophet--Drummers and Dreamers. Mr. Guie has long researched in Fort Simcoe material. He has also long been interested in preservation of the fort. That is now being carried out as a State Parks and Recreation Commission Project on a long range scale."
