(out of the lower habitat), they deal with the buffalo country, with Owl Monster (who is not the pectogryph familiar believed the river monster or owl woman around Celilo but a timber owl who lived on the Imnaha River; pp. 198 an account of a fisherman who was 'accustomed to go up the Little Salmon (Hunehe) branch of the Grande Ronde River to fish for salmon and of dried fish (salmon) stored at Asotin Creek."
