Abstract
"Even the Colville set of films is, I believe, good material, containing as it does numerous references to Palouse, leaders, even possible regions of occupancy. While I have enough for considerable work, I am wondering what suggestions you might have for something along the following lines: After I hack out some of the copies so you can evaluate them, and have an estimate of the real slowness of the project, which I believe precludes the 'experts' from getting into it so thoroughly, would there be any chance for a small authorization, for assistance in clerical help?"
