Abstract
"The class of immigrants that Yakima county especially welcomes from other sections is the class possessing some means with which to make a new start in life and who can quite readily adjust themselves to our conditions. Our methods of farming, while radically different from those employed in the eastern states, are yet comparatively simple and easy to learn. The Yakima valley is a great district in which specialty farming prevails. A newcomer may take his choice. He may raise fruit, hops or alfalfa, or run a dairy."
