Abstract
"The Umatilla Report contains, in my estimation, less pertinent information relating to the Yakima and Palouse cases, than the subsequent Palouse and Yakima reports. But I believe it contains some general familiarization material. This is especially true because of the overlap with the Palouse and the references to the tribes or bands dwelling along the Columbia River."
