"I will have to write a story for the paper now saying you don't want a dam built there. That will help others oppose the ones who want to build it. So now, we have to meet again. I will tell you what they plan to do and will tell all of you what I have done. I am also renewing your application for some land along the river, protection of the graveyard and things like that. That is all I can do, just write letters to protest and ask. Hope things are going well with you."
