"Priest Rapids Dam 1962 The vision and effort of a pioneering people together with natural resources of a great state created the Priest Rapids Project. It assures Grant County an adequate, low cost power supply. Electric power generated here will benefit the entire Pacific Northwest. This large power development is a product of American ingenuity where the combined efforts of the power industry and the local people were focused toward a common goal."
