Abstract

"Flat display cases in the Yakima Frontier Museum contain an extensive amount of beads and non-perishable trade goods which relic hunters have dug and searched for years to obtain small collections. There are glass beads on which the glass factories of Venice, Italy, had a near monopoly from the 16th through 19th centuries, before France and Czechoslovakia, then called Bohemia, broke into the trade market."
