Abstract
"Parenthesis -- (after considerable discussion among the Indians it was agreed that this tribe belonged to the Columbias, although they did not talk quite the same language as the Moses tribe. [Comment the Wanapums could understand only a few words of the true Moses people--Moses band, they knew as the Wenatchipum who ranged down as far as Crab Creek, at Beverly Gap, 10-12 miles above Priest Rapids]."
