Abstract
"Roslyn, a town in the western part of Kittitas county. In Aug. 1886 Logan M. Bullock, general manager of the Northern Pacific Railroad Company's coal mine there suggested the name as a compliment to his sweetheart who was living in Roslyn, New York (W. M. Sample, postmaster at Roslyn in Names MSS Letter 535 (Meany)."
