Abstract

"Grange City, a town in Columbia county. During the Granger movement in 1875 Colonel George Hunter canvassed among the Grangers and with the money raised he built a warehouse in the spring of 1876. From this arose the name of Grange City (Illustrated History of Southeastern Washington Pages 376-377.) Meany."
