Abstract

"There were two girls who were called their names the one was Tahpallough and one was YesLimMas these were Yakima Indians these two girls used to go out digging the roots which was used for their food now these two Yakima girls used to go out for digging roots every day and they used to camp out there and sleep there when lying on their sleeping place one used to say when they seen two stars above and one girl used to say I wish that red looking star would be your husband and the bright looking star would be my husband."
