Abstract

"Frame houses were being used when I arrived. Horse and buggies were transportation. The golden spike of the NP was driven before I arrived. Knew Gov. Ferry. Was at Rosslyn at the time of the mine explosion that was caused by black damp. Forty nine miners were killed."
