Abstract
"Farm at Volcano Point, Whidbey's Island Mar. 25, 1859 Bought of Charles Thompson, commonly known as Dutch Charley, his claim consisting of 160 acres of land with a small house and building etc. and perhaps 30 acres of prairie and partly broken up. The fences all destroyed. The terms are cash paid down $400 and on or before the 1st October pay $400 more 25th paid Charles Thompson Cash 400; do paid Alexander (boat charter) 10.00...."
