Abstract
"The action was taken on the basis that the city will have to build an entirely new water system. Should the Pacific Power & Light Co. and the later come to an agreement on the price for the existing system, a second election will be held to determine if the people of Yakima will authorize the purchase of the company's plant provided the issuance of bonds is authorized at the first election according to Dolph Barnett, city attorney."
