Abstract
"The people of the old town have and are joining in heart and soul in the purpose of making and keeping a town (North Yakima, written in by Relander) that will be a pride to the territory; and though it may appear a life of bondage for a while and they may find it hard to snatch from the barren soil the trees, grass and flowers that formerly surrounded them, self-protection, which compelled them to move, will urge them on to the task...."
