Abstract
"Mountain adventures in the hills of Washington, Oregon and California are related by the author and his tales covering a period of 34 years, 1874 to 1923. The volume will have 24 pages of illustrations, several from photographs taken by Yakima photographers. Some of the stories have Yakima as a starting point. It is not a record of wild and impossible adventure, Rusk wrote, but it is a true record of actual experiences in regions that every year are becoming more and more accessible to the public. It describes places that are now becoming accessible to the average man and his Ford."
