Abstract
"The company charter states that it is the purpose of this company to appropriate and divert certain waters from lakes and streams in Yakimas and Kittitas counties, to build ditches, flumes, viaducts, pipe lines and conduits for the purpose of irrigating the arid lands lying east of the Cascade range. The operations will not be confined to supplying water for agricultural purposes but for furnishing water power for manufactories and for supplying cities with water for fire and domestic purposes."
