Abstract
"The entire day practically was given over to the service in connection with the laying of the corner stone of the magnificent new church now being erected at the corner of north Fourth and C streets. The structure is now about one-third completed. It is the intention to have it under roof by fall. When finished, with the furnishings, it will cost in the neighborhood of $50,000 and be one of the finest churches in the state."
