Abstract

"Mr. Morse immediately complied with his request sold out his effects and left. Mr. OConnel refused to move, stating that he held his claim under the donation law--things stood this way until the 5th of August when the Col. sent a force of men over the river took down O Connels house and moved it and all his traps on this side of the river."
