Abstract
"In response to your letter of May 9 relative to the Fort Simcoe centennial I must indicate that it is too early to forecast the ability of Fort Lewis to participate in that event. The 2nd Infantry Division, including the 9th Regiment, is in the process of switching locations with the 71st Infantry Division now stationed in Alaska."
