"Altho these floods may have historic implications I think most of us are just about ready to reword the old line about history repeating itself. We are all praying that the factions get together and build a dam on both the Kaweah and Tule and stop all of this terrific loss. Actually this time it was not a flood in one sense for the break thru at McKay's Point simply sent the Kaweah river through Visalia."
