Abstract
"You will thus become identified with my rather small but choice assortment of California authors. As you may not know, I deal some in Indians myself, but my current concentration is on the Jim McKinney story, the last of the western badmen, who shot up Porterville and who vowed to make Blood Harry Tracy of Oregon look tame.
