Abstract
"The Palouse and Thomas Indians, who are under Wolf, number about 400. Some of them live at the mouth of the Tukanon; some at the mouth of the Alpowa river and some near where Wolf is, and some on Columbia near Priest Rapids. They raise horses; live in native temporary houses and are nomadic. They have no lands which they can call their own."
