Abstract

The murder of Indian Agent Andrew Bolen held to be result of failure of Major Haller to investigate crimes against Indians. In subsequent military action, Haller was accused of cowardice and neglect of duty. Charges against his command include burning the Ahtanum Mission. Transcribed by Click Relander from microfilm held by National Archives.
