Abstract
"Great Industry for Yakima. A Beet Sugar Factory will Be Established Here if the People Want It--No Bonus Asked For. Mr. E. D. Comings of Seattle, who has visited this locality several times, is here with the purpose of building a beet sugar factory in the Yakima Valley. To say that this is a God-send to our farmers, when potatoes are a drug on the market, and the price of alfalfa low, goes without saying."
