Abstract

"The World's Space. A statistician asserts that when 350 years shall have passed the density of the earth's population will be so great that each person will have only two thirds of an acre, which space will have to suffice for all purposes--agricultural, roads, houses, parks, railways, etc. He estimates the present population of the earth at 1,000,000,000 and says that in 2250 it will be 52,073,000,000."
