Abstract
"The new bridge being built across the Natchez, just below the mouth of the Rattlesnake, is being rushed to completion, the main span is 125 feet in length. The piers have been put in, in a most substantial manner. It is expected that when completed, the bridge will cost the county not to exceed $700."
