Abstract
"An Indian was picked up by City Marshal Boyle last Saturday near the Guilland house and conveyed to the city bastille on a dray. The Indian was in a perfectly unconscious state from the effects of alcohol, and rough handling seemed to make no impression upon him whatever. It is said that whiskey peddlers are now selling wood alcohol which is considered extremely poisonous."
