Abstract
"The new Selah-Moxee canal which is now well nigh completed, will redeem about 5000 acres of sagebrush lands. As the holdings of the settlers under this canal will average about 25 acres in size, it may thus be inferred that about 200 families will find homes in that fertile section. It is such enterprises as this that confer upon mankind a real and lasting benefit."
