Abstract
"Emil Allwardt, the German farmer of the Moxee, thinking that it was not good for man to be alone, sent word some time ago to the lady of his choice to leave her 'German home across the sea' and join him at the peer in New York. The meeting occurred as designed, a quite wedding followed and the happy couple arrived in Yakima on Tuesday to begin the battle of life on the Moxee ranch. Mr. Allwardt is said to have quite a romantic history; has traveled around the world and has resided both in South Africa and South America."
