Abstract
"Postmaster Sperry a few days ago forwarded to the department at Washington, a monster petition containing over 650 names of people residing in the Ahtanum valley, who are asking that a daily mail service be given them between this city and Tampico. In view of the unanimity in the matter of the people to be served, it is believed that the petition will be granted, although a considerable delay may be safely anticipated before the desired change is made by the department."
