Abstract
This document lists all persons who served as library trustee in 1957 , when Yakima had 3 separate Library Boards. The contract creating the Regional Library did not dissolve the City Library or the County Library, nor was one unit annexed to the other. Instead, it created three library agencies: Yakima Public Library (City,) Rural County Library District (County) and the Yakima Valley Regional Library (YVRL). Each library agency had its own board of trustees. In 1962 a new contract was adopted by the Yakima County Rural Library district which gradually reduced the number of library boards to one.
