Abstract
"Hitting at the control of the Republican party by wealth and special interests, Major Frank R. Jeffrey, first commander of the American Legion in Washington, former U.S. District Attorney for Eastern Washington, and now practicing in Seattle, today filed his declaration of candidacy on the Republican ticket for United State Senator." Graduate of Yakima High School in 1907, he "spent a year there as a newspaper reporter before going to the national capital."
