Meeting held in Helena, Montana on May 9, 1954. Decided is the location of next year's conference, in Spokane, "that the Washington State Historical Society should remain the parent organization of the Pacific Northwest History Conference," who the Chairman should be, whether to publish a syllabus, future conferences should have more of a workshop style, and that there should be a registration fee.
