"A 2 1/2 hour program featuring military ceremonies, introduction of governmental dignitaries, speeches by a U.S. senator and a congressman, the formal presentation of the lease by the Indian Tribal council, and its acceptance by the governor, was announced this week as the official program of the Fort Simcoe Centennial Celebration to be held Sunday, Aug. 12, at Fort Simcoe."
