Abstract
Final part of a talk by Rod Swartz, entitled Changing Role of the State Library. Swartz served as State Librarian of Washington from 1975 - 1986. In 1975 he worked on House Bill 1297, to create a Washington Library Network. He was also chairman of The Western Council of State Librarians.
