Abstract
"For three years they battled the pioneer life in California then in 1878 they sailed up the coast from San Francisco to Portland. From Portland they headed for the wonderful Yakima Valley. Leaving Portland by the steamer 'Daisy Ainsworth' they reached the Dalles then by wagon to Yakima City." Reverse of first sheet is an 'Albers Bros. Milling Co.' form.
