Abstract
Manuscript lectures number forty-six. Tells the history of the science of Alchemy, going back to Egypt. Posits that the transformation of base metals to gold was an analogy for the secret of human regeneration. "Man's own body was the alchemical laboratory. His organs were the furnaces and retorts, and his vital energies were the chemicals with which he was to work."
