Abstract

After a trip down to the Columbia River where he investigated the Wakemap mound, Relander writes Albert H. Culverwell, historian with the State Parks and Recreation Commission, to ask how his work has been progressing with the mound. He also discusses the situation at Priest Rapids, and asks for Culverwell's expertise with "removal procedure as relates to this system you mentioned to me, and whether or not it was practicable down around The Dalles."
