Abstract
Relander writes a second note of appreciation to Dr. Herman Deutsch, chairman of the Committee on Pacific Northwest History. He says that Alba Shawaway will be accompanying him to the Northwest History Conference and inquires after sales of Drummers and Dreamers at the college store in Pullman. He closes by saying, "So far here in Yakima Broad tells me it has outsold Douglas' 'Of Men and Mountains,' which led the previous record. He is confident he will dispose of 100 during the Christmas season. But you know how small these royalties are, and this, as you know, is a straight royalty book and was not subsidized."
